Lama Hourani: Kingdom of The Universe

I personally have an on-going obsession with distinct unique jewelry and I’m often searching the collections of both old and new emerging designers. I came across Lama Hourani’s beautiful collection: Kingdom of The Universe and I instantly fell in love with the creativity of all the designs. Lama’s collections are often designed from an inspiration and her inspiration this time was the rich mysterious Inca Empire. (Divine, isn’t it?) My favorite piece has got to be the Rio leaf earrings (the last photo found below). You can shop the collection online here.

The Best Fashion Trends of All Time

Following up on one the most famous articles on my blog “The Worst Fashion Trends of All Time” I decided to write about The Best Fashion Trends of all Time. No caution to take here, more like checking your wardrobe for lacking any of those versatile items. I say invest some cash in them too, they tend to be everlasting and go with all seasons.
Little Black Dress:
The LBD would fail no one. When in doubt, despair and when you have nothing to wear, wear the LBD! Match it with flats or heels, statement or pendant, tote or clutch.. throughout all seasons you’re still on the right track. I sometimes say that you should own more than one.
Denim Jacket & Shirt:
Denim is the world’s best created fabric. Both the denim jacket and the shirt are a wardrobe must-have, also taking you throughout the seasons. Have you season any latest collection debuted without a denim jacket/shirt? I don’t think so.

Everyone I know owns a pair of leggings and specifically the one & only Zara leggings which have been in every collection since around 2009. They are most definitely an investment that you don’t splurge a lot of cash for.
The Blazer:
I love Blazers! At some point all I bought was blazers. I think a woman should most importantly own the black blazer and the white blazer. Any other blazer would be an extra, but who doesn’t love an extra? I have one in Neon Pink and I love it! A good fit blazer will do magic.

The Statement Necklace:
I love statement necklaces because they are so easy to wear and they can make a bold unique statement without doubt. You also don’t need to put much effort when getting dressed up once you know you’re wearing a statement necklace.

The Leather Jacket
Leather jackets give an edgy youthful look. They’re not always easy to wear but once worn they feel great. I’ve been constantly searching for a leather jacket for myself other than a black one (or tan or navy) but I’m failing at my search. I also don’t wish for it to be red, because I got a red quilted jacket recently.

DKNY’s Ramadan Collection

Donna Karren surprised us this year by unveiling its first DKNY’s Ramadan Collection. Smart? Definitely! Ramadan this year has one of the hottest weathers and dressing up as needed -conservatively- is a bit difficult, especially considering the fact that not all stores provide a quantity of conservative clothes during summer. A considerate, modest, conservative yet summer friendly collection by DKNY is an excellent target-market for the Middle East region. The collection features styling by Middle Eastern Women; fashion designer Tamara Al-Gabbani and Yalda Golsharifi You can find the collection in DKNY stores. (In Amman; you can find it at DKNY City Mall). #DKNYRamadan
